To solve the problem of ship acceleration at rough sea and the problem of main engine operating overtime in the barred speed range, this paper analyzes the reasons of the problems from the viewpoints of propeller matching and main engine internal design. Focusing on the power margin of the barred speed range, some countermeasures are proposed after a comprehensive study on the light propeller margin, barred speed range, MAN main engine torque output, etc. |
