两种典型截面立柱绕流特性数值模拟

摘要:
为观察圆形截面和方形截面2种典型截面形式的立柱在绕流上的异同,采用Fluent对这2种截面形式的立柱进行不同折合速度和不同来流角度下的绕流数值模拟。从立柱受力、流体力轨迹曲线及涡泄模式等方面进行结果的分析和对比可知:方形立柱在绕流时流体分离点是固定的,且在相同条件下方柱的斯托哈尔数要比圆柱的小。此外,方柱绕流特性随来流角度的变化而有所变化,方柱的流体力统计值也与圆柱有较大区别,但二者的升阻力频率具有相同的关系。

Numerical Simulation of the Flow Around Two Columns with Different Sections

Abstract:
In order to observe the similarities and differences of the flow around the two columns respectively with round and square sections, the Fluent software is used to perform numerical simulations of the two columns under different velocities and directions of the incoming current. The result is analyzed and compared in terms of forces on the columns, fluid trace curves, and vortex shedding patterns. It is found that the fluid separation point is fixed for the square column, and the Strouhal value is smaller than that of the round column under the same conditions. Besides, the flow characteristics around the square column vary along with the direction of the incoming current and the statistical values of the fluid forces are also very different from those of the round column, but the relationship of the lift-drag frequencies of the two columns are almost the same.
